Freshers Week Fun Casino Hire
We all know what it’s like being a student, next to no money but having to make what you do have stretch across your food, bills, learning materials and of course, your social life. Could you imagine if there was a way to play casino games and not have to risk your money? Fun casino hire comes with ‘funny money’ which can be personalised, so you have the fun of the casino without the hole in your wallet.
Prizes for the winners could vary, or you could keep them all to one. A good idea could be to win drink tokens so you can just go straight to the bar with your token to claim your free drink. No money loss, free drinks? Surely this is the ideal student night, right?
There are a few tables you can choose from for a casino event; place your bets on the Roulette table or will you be spinning the Wheel of Fortune? Other casino classics include Blackjack and Texas Hold ‘Em Poker which are all guaranteed to get everyone (or most people) involved.

Red or black? Odd or even? What’s your bet? Roulette is one of the easier games which can hold up to 7 players; it’s the perfect casino game for beginners. Wheel of Fortune, suitable for eight players, is another one that makes a good match for beginners, with a similar skill level.
Blackjack can be slightly more challenging but still on the easier side of things, besides you’ve probably played it before (also known as 21 or Pontoon). The aim is to have your cards add up to 21, or as close to without going bust by getting higher. You can ‘stick’ with what you have, ‘twist’ for another card or you can ‘split’ to work on two to double your chance of reaching 21 on at least one set of cards.
Texas Hold ‘Em Poker is one for the pros. However, if you’re a beginner, don’t worry, the croupier will guide you through the rules and I’m sure your newly made friends will too.

Retro Arcade Games
Make this year’s freshers a one to remember, make it better than freshers week 2016, with retro games hire; bring back your childhood with some 90’s arcade games and even some 80’s, all on one machine.
The machines include 90’s games: Street Fighter, The Simpsons, Bubble Bobble, Metal Slug and more. If you’re feeling slightly more retro, you can take it back with these classic 80’s arcade games: Donkey Kong, Pacman, Space Invaders and again, much more.
What better way to start off student life than with some throwback fun?

Carnival / Fun Fair Hire
If funfair game stalls are more your thing, hire carnival stalls like Basketball Shootout; Tin Can Alley or test how strong you are with High Striker. Something everyone loves, especially when you don’t have to pay for each game.
Players with the highest scorecard at the end of the night can win a prize; this is something you could provide, for example, a bar tab or food vouchers.
Alternatively, if you hire your carnival games through Gray Events, we can provide circus prizes like teddy bears, frisbees and so on, for a small price.

Sports / Giant Outdoor Games
Bring back the nostalgia, before student life, with giant outdoor entertainment. Have a game of giant connect four or Jenga? These games are all guaranteed to get all students involved in a bit of friendly competition. Other childhood favourites like air hockey and table football are also available for hire.
To accompany the entertainment, although this one is all on you, how does a BBQ sound? Burgers and beers in the sun (hopefully) with some nostalgic fun - looks like you students will have a great time.

Racing Simulators
Twin or single F1 style simulators allow students to compete against each other for a bottle of bubbly.
Our racing simulators come with 40” TV screens and instead of a lightweight, portable frame, our heavy duty, authentic frames offer the best racing experience. The simulators come with a member of staff who’s there to keep score and help with any confusion at the event.

Photo Booth Hire
If there’s one thing we can all agree; it’s that most students love a good selfie, so a photo booth with a selection of backgrounds, costumes and props are perfect. The photo booth is basically a real life ‘Snapchat’, create your own filter with the range of props.
